A Quiet May – But Grateful for My DIY Treadwall

May was a pretty quiet month when it came to climbing outside. Work took up a lot of my time—some days were so long that by the time I finished, there was simply no energy left to do anything in the evening. It was frustrating at times, but one thing kept me sane: my DIY Treadwall.
Having my own climbing setup at home meant that, even with a packed schedule, I could still train. Instead of waiting for the perfect moment, I simply shifted my sessions to the mornings.
At 7:00 AM, before the day even started, I got up and did a 40-minute endurance session—a mix of vertical and overhanging climbing to keep things varied.
And honestly? It felt amazing. While others were still waking up, I had already done something productive, and that feeling of getting in a solid session before heading to work was incredibly motivating.
This month really showed me how valuable it is to have training options at home. Even when life gets busy, having the Treadwall makes it easy to stay consistent. No excuses, no lost time—just a quick, effective workout right in my own space.
Hopefully, June will bring more free time and outdoor climbing, but for now, I’m just grateful I could keep the momentum going despite the busy schedule. 🔥💪
