DIY Treadwall – Friends Want to Build One Too in 2025!

Lately, more and more friends have been asking me how I built my DIY Treadwall. The ones who visited recently even followed up again, curious about the details and how they could build something similar.

I told them that if I were to explain exactly how to build one, I’d actually love to build a new and improved version myself—taking into account all the upgrades and optimizations I’ve thought of over the past three years of using it.

A New Treadwall Project?

After discussing it, we came up with a cool idea: Why not build a new Treadwall together? They could help with the process, and in return, they’d learn firsthand how to construct one. It would be a fun project, and I’d finally have the chance to implement all the improvements I’ve been thinking about.

Turning It Into a Video

Since some of their friends have also heard about my Treadwall and are interested in building their own, we decided to document the process in a video. That way, anyone who’s curious about building a DIY Treadwall can see exactly how it’s done—from materials and mechanics to the actual construction.

I’m pretty excited about this idea! Not only will I get to build a better version, but it’ll also be cool to share the knowledge and help others create their own home climbing setup. Let’s see where this goes!
