Back to Steep Climbing – Strength is Coming Back
Last week, I finally did two bouldering sessions on my 35-degree wall, and wow… I really feel the time off.
After nearly six months without real power training, my body tension is nowhere near where it used to be. Holding small holds feels especially tough—my finger strength and core stability definitely need some work.
That being said, it feels amazing to be back on steep terrain. Even though my sessions were short and controlled, just being able to move on overhangs again is a huge win. It’s frustrating to feel weaker than before, but at the same time, the motivation is higher than ever.
The plan now? Keep rebuilding slowly, focus on body tension and finger strength, and not rush progress. Kalymnos is still the goal, and I know that with consistent training, I’ll get back to where I was.
The Stoke stays high! 💪🔥
