Kalymnos is Booked – Training Starts Now!
Finally, some great news – my shoulder is feeling much better, and I’ve officially booked my trip to Kalymnos for April 2023!
After months of recovery and uncertainty, I can finally start looking forward to real rock climbing again.
Getting Back in Shape
Right now, my focus is on getting stronger and rebuilding endurance after the injury. My body still needs time to fully adapt to the demands of climbing, so I’m easing back in with controlled sessions, focusing on:
✅ Gradually increasing intensity
✅ Strengthening my shoulder with targeted exercises
✅ Finding the right balance between training and avoiding re-injury
But honestly, the excitement is through the roof. It’s been a long time since I’ve felt this motivated to train. The idea of warm limestone, endless tufas, and perfect endurance routes is all the fuel I need to push through the next few months of preparation.
Back to the Endless Wall in January
I’ve decided that from January onward, I’ll be back on the Endless Wall, focusing on pure endurance training. Kalymnos is all about long, sustained climbing, so I’ll need to rebuild my ability to stay on the wall for extended periods without getting completely pumped.
The next few months will be all about staying consistent, training smart, and keeping the Stoke high! April 2023 can’t come soon enough. 🔥💪
