October – Enjoying Autumn at Home

After an adventure-packed September in Sardinia, October was all about slowing down and enjoying the autumn season at home. With no trips planned for the near future, it felt good to just settle in, enjoy the cooler temperatures, and focus on training and local climbing.

A Change of Pace

The past few months have been filled with travel, climbing trips, and van life, so taking a break from packing, planning, and moving around actually felt refreshing. Instead of chasing new destinations, I spent more time appreciating the local crags and training at home.

Autumn in Austria is beautiful—the crisp air, colorful forests, and perfect conditions for outdoor climbing. While I didn’t push too hard this month, I enjoyed relaxed days on the rock, just climbing for fun without the pressure of big projects.

Back to Training Mode

With no major trips on the horizon, I used October to get back into a solid training rhythm. My DIY Treadwall was the perfect tool to keep endurance levels up, and I also focused on finger strength and mobility to stay in shape for whatever comes next.

What’s Next?

For now, I have no big trips planned, which honestly feels kind of strange. But I know that the off-season is just as important as the high-energy climbing trips. I’ll use the next few months to train, stay consistent, and get ready for new adventures—whenever they come.

Until then, I’m just enjoying the slower pace and making the most of autumn at home. 🍂🔥
