With April getting closer, my excitement for Kalymnos is growing every day. I’ve been training consistently, focusing on endurance sessions on my DIY Treadwall, while also mixing in some bouldering sessions to keep my power and body tension in check. The combination feels great—I can feel my endurance improving while still maintaining strength for harder moves.
Training Focus – Building the Perfect Kalymnos Base
Since Kalymnos is known for its long, pumpy endurance routes, my main goal is to stay on the wall longer without getting tired. On the Treadwall, I’m doing aerobic endurance sessions, climbing at a steady pace while keeping my forearms relaxed. At the same time, bouldering is helping me stay explosive for when I need power on steeper routes. So far, the balance feels great, and I’m feeling stronger with each session.
Exploring Kalymnos – Beyond Just Climbing
One of the things I’m most excited about is that we’ve already rented a scooter for the trip. That means cruising around the island, enjoying the beautiful scenery, and, of course, stopping for amazing Greek food after climbing sessions. Kalymnos isn’t just about the climbing—it’s about the entire experience, from exploring hidden beaches to relaxing in the sun after a long day on the rock.
The countdown is on, and the stoke is higher than ever. Just a few more weeks of training, and then it’s time for limestone, tufas, and endless routes in one of the best climbing destinations in the world! 🔥💪
